We Have this Thing with Millennial Pink

We're a bit obsessed with Millennial Pink (who isn't?) at FCHQ.  Pink has always been a firm fave, but the salmon/grapefruit/rose quartz goodness of MP has us well and truly smitten.  So when the time came for a little brand refresh, we couldn't not incorporate its prettiness into our shiny new logo.

There is another dimension to our new design.  We've added a splash of red!  Red is such a dynamic colour and we absolutely adore the clash it creates with pink.  Here's our inspiration behind the new design.

The Melt Crowd Live

We're hitting the road! Oh yes, our Christmas shows are about to begin and we're *unbelievably* excited to meet our lovely customers face to face. The big news this year, is that we're taking The Melt Crowd on tour!

We're Popping Up at Topshop Oxford Circus

Exciting news! Starting today, we're popping up at the world's largest fashion store - Topshop's flagship at Oxford Circus, London.  Squeeeee!

We're located on the ground floor, just in front of Lola's Cupcakes (amaze!) and will be in residency until Sunday.  Pay us a visit and see our classic soy wax candles along with the new Christmas collection and some super good special editions.

Flamingo Candles at Stylist Live

So when one of your favourite weekly magazines announces it's putting on a four-day festival of cocktails, culture, catwalks and conversation, it's hard not to want to get involved, right?!

Stylist magazine's Live event was on from 15-18 October and hosted by the fabulous Edith Bowman and Dawn O'Porter.  We simply had to host a pop-up shop - right alongside like-minded, amazingly cool brands!

We had an absolute blast!  We got to meet hundreds of lovely customers who gave us lots of feedback and ideas.  We launched our exclusive Halloween scents which were only available to our mailing list and Stylist Live customers (turns out you guys can't get enough of Pumpkin Soufflé) and we also got to tell everyone about our delicious new Christmas range.

 

We had a fantastic four days, where we got to drink cocktails, eat mac 'n' cheese, listen to inspirational talks, build our own Birchbox and start our Christmas shopping.  Awesome!

Pink Ribbon Candle Launch

We're very excited to announce that we are supporting the Pink Ribbon Foundation with a new product launch of a special edition Pink Ribbon Candle and Scent Melt.  Twenty per cent of sales of these products will be donated to the Foundation to help the fight against breast cancer.

The Pink Ribbon Foundation (Reg. Charity No. 1080839) is a grant making trust with a mission to fund projects and provide financial support to UK charities which relieve the needs of people who are suffering from, or who have been affected by breast cancer or who work to advance the understanding of breast cancer, its early detection and treatment.

Our Pink Ribbon fragrance is a rich, cranberry accord dominated by top notes of sweet cranberry blended with prune juice, complimented by a fruity floral heart of summer strawberry, sun ripened raspberry and citrus orange with sweet honey and rose notes. On dry down the base is woody and powdery with notes of cedarwood and vanilla with a hint of raspberry.

Autumn 2015 Collection

'Tis the season for candles!  September always symbolises the start of being able, legitimately, to light candles and enjoy their properties to the full, whether that be settling down with a good book, enjoying a luxurious bubble bath or chilling out after a long day.

Our Autumn Collection is an exceptional mix of the ultra sweet, masculine and fruity.  An exciting range of scents to entice every taste.

Black Tea & Almond
Smokey and sweet, Black Tea & Almond opens with sparkling aromas of black cherry, bergamot, red berries and almond.  Bulgarian and Turkish roses rule the heart, further developed with notes of liquorice and smoked black tea.  Aniseed, tonka bean, vanilla, iris and patchouli form the base.

Mediterranean Fig
Leafy and sultry, Mediterranean Fig is a mature fragrance with top notes of anise, green and citrus, through to a middle of cedar, cyclamen, coconut and violet.  Amber, oakmoss and tonka make the perfect base.

Violet & Lime
Sweet and floral, Violet & Lime is a delightful mix of green leaf, fruit notes, violet, lily resting on a base note of sandalwood.

Thunderstorm
Masculine and earthy, Thunderstorm forms top notes of ozone, melon and soil, leading to a floral heart and woody base notes of patchouli, peat and amber.

Crème Brûlée
Rich and sweet, Crème Brûlée is a dessert fragrance with notes of creamy custard laced with crushed vanilla pods, dark chocolate and sparkling citrus sealed by a layer of crunchy caramelised sugar.

Cherry Slush

Who doesn’t love a sugary slush drink!  Our Cherry Slush scent is an icy, fruity delight which transports us back to childhood summers.

Popcorn

The ultimate circus snack!  A blend of sweet vanilla, cream, crunchy baked biscuits and hot caramel to release the sweet, buttery scent of burning popcorn. 

Doughnuts

This scent will make you crave sugary treats from the doughnut stand!  Dreamy and sweet with a blend of butter, hazelnut and vanilla including notes of coriander, nutmeg, peach coconut and caramel.  A necessity for foodie scent lovers!

Candy Floss

Candy Floss is the most indulgent sweet and sticky treat.  A blend of super syrupy raspberry, vanilla, toffee and caramel.
